Berkshire Ballroom is f-a-b-u-l-o-u-s! 8 years ago, I decided to follow my passion and learn to dance at Berkshire Ballroom. I have loved every moment of this journey. Initially, I started off as a solo dancer and made many friends in the classes thanks to the welcoming atmosphere. With the support of excellent teachers, I have been completing medal tests and am currently working on my Bronze level. The standard of teaching is outstanding!!! I can't praise Amy enough! With lots of encouragement, my husband now has discovered the same passion for dance; we dance together at regular social events and workshops and are both voluntary helpers at the ballroom.
I am proud to be part of the Berkshire Ballroom family and Team BB.

  As is often the case, I hid behind the excuses of "it's not for me" and "I have 2 left feet" when my wife suggested I join her dancing at Berkshire Ballroom. Those were my excuses for 2 years anyway until I finally agreed to give it a go. Amy and the team managed to find my right foot for me and as a result I now LOVE dancing at BB and have attended classes for many years. The team are superb and welcoming, the facilities excellent and the events always great fun! I cannot recommend BB highly enough. Thank you Amy and BB for finding the dancer in me.

  I have been dancing at BB for around 10 years.
BB offers you the opportunity to learn different dances at a pace that suits you whether you are a beginner or an advanced dancer.
The BB teaching team are brilliant and are backed up by a group of experienced volunteer dancers who are there to dance with solo dancers or help couples.

  I joined the ballroom classes in October 2022, feeling nervous and unsure of myself, it had been decades since I'd last danced, and I wasn’t sure what to expect. What I found was something truly special. This school has become my happy place.
Since joining, I've become fitter, more energetic, and most importantly happier. I’ve rediscovered a sense of purpose and joy I didn’t know I was missing.
This transformation wouldn’t have been possible without the encouragement and belief of Amy and Carole, the wonderful teachers who create such a supportive atmosphere. Add to that the dancing friends I’ve made and the strong sense of community, it truly is a place where you belong.
Whether you're an experienced dancer, a complete beginner, returning after a break (like I did), or even reluctantly dragged along by a loved one, you will be welcomed, supported, and surprised by what you can achieve.

  I came to Berkshire Ballroom after dancing for over 35 years and I can’t even begin to describe the positive effect Amy and her team have had on every aspect of my dancing. The whole team are genuinely welcoming and extremely knowledgeable. Classes are delivered professionally but in a relaxed way that immediately puts you at ease. I always leave feeling as though I’ve spent an evening among good friends learning to dance properly, with emphasis on proper technique, all while having a lot of fun! I only wish I’d found my place here sooner!

  Berkshire Ballroom is fab-u-lous. The teaching is first-class and I adore every minute I'm on the dance floor learning exciting routines from the classy foxtrot to the cheeky cha cha. I'm thrilled to be working towards my Bronze medal exams and certainly want to keep on dancing!

  It is my privilege to dance at BB. The relaxed and friendly atmosphere create the prefect environment to learn to dance. No matter your ability Amy and the team provide the best tuition and encouragement allowing you to achieve more than you ever thought was possible. The social events provide a great opportunity to practise what you have learnt and I have been lucky enough to meet so many wonderful new friends. I hope to be part of BB for a long time to come.

  We started taking dance lessons as a Birthday treat for me. My husband made it quite clear that he was happy to go along for the initial 6 weeks, but that he would not be going after that. We’re still going to lessons several years later as we both enjoy it so much! The ballroom is an enjoyable venue and the staff at Berkshire Ballroom very friendly and encouraging. Dancing exercises the brain as well as the body and is so much fun. Whether you go for group lessons or private lessons you’ll have a great time.
