Take your first steps here and sign up today!...
Can't make the first week or two? No problem! You can still join a class, contact us to confirm your start date.
No partners required, we look forward to seeing you on the dance floor.
Yes of course! We have lots of people who attend classes on their own and we have enough teachers and partners to make sure everyone is danced with and has an enjoyable class!
We recommend that you wear something that you are comfortable in. For Ladies, a low heel or a ballet pump type shoe. Try and avoid trainers or a rubber sole as this makes it difficult to achieve turns. Please no stiletto heels!
For men a suit style or brogue type shoe is ideal, similar to ladies try and avoid a rubber sole.
Unfortunately we only accept cash payment, there are no cash points on site, the closest are located in Bracknell Town Centre.
At Berkshire Ballroom we run a pay as-you-go policy, so if you miss a class you aren’t loosing out on any money!
We have plenty of car parking available on site including disabled parking spaces.
Our beginners classes do not last for a set amount of weeks. Once you have joined a class, that class then belongs to you! We will not change your class day or time unless in certain circumstances.
At Berkshire Ballroom we are predominately a social dance school. We want our dancers to enjoy dancing with us and make new friends and attend our social events. However, if you want to take your dancing more seriously we do offer ISTD Examinations and the chance to participate in ISTD medallist competitions.
At Berkshire Ballroom we have a fully licensed bar where alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages are able to purchase. The Rumber is always open!
Yes we have free Wifi available in the studio.
Yes there is a ramp down to the Ballroom suitable for wheelchair users.
Children from 5yrs old are eligible to attend our Strictly for Kids class.
We encourage parents to wait in our waiting area during the children’s class as in our experience we find that having parents watching can be a distraction, and we want the children to get to most out of the clas as possible.
